Travelers to World Cup events in Brazil may have problems due to construction delays which could result in lawsuits.

Some of the renovation projects that were expected to be finished for the World Cup will now not be completed until after the event. Brazil officials estimate that more than three million people will travel to the country, and that airport facilities are critical, as many cities must be accessed by air. Heavy rain caused flooding in the passenger terminal at the World Cup airport located in the city of Manaus on Monday. The flooding required officials to close portions of the airport, frustrating travelers, although no lawsuits were filed. Officials Reassuring While not all upgrades will be complete, officials say tourists should not worry. They say that travelers will find the same level of comfort in Brazil as they would in other airports around the world. Others say that fans should brace for some problems, but that they were no more serious than any found in airports in other countries. Officials claim that the dust is settling and the noise is dwindling, so visitors should enjoy their trip to the tournaments with no concerns about possible lawsuits. When travel conditions deteriorate causing mental anguish and stress, a lawsuit may be in order.  Contact Dallas-Fort Worth lawyers at Frenkel & Frenkel to schedule a free initial consultation.
